PDF ASAP: Acrobat, Doc Remedy, and Beyond

PDF ASAP: Acrobat, Doc Remedy, and Beyond promotional image

Not every PDF accessibility problem calls for the same solution. Sometimes the best approach is to process the entire document. Other times, it makes more sense to fix individual issues, return to the source document, or replace the PDF with another format.

PDF ASAP is a way to check your PDFs in a logical order so you can identify important accessibility issues and make informed decisions about what to do next.

In this session, we'll use Adobe Acrobat to assess PDF accessibility and introduce Doc Remedy, a university service that automates certain PDF accessibility tasks and can process multiple PDFs in a batch. We'll explore the advantages and limitations of different approaches and how to choose one that fits the document.

The goal isn't to make you a PDF accessibility expert. It's to help you make informed decisions, avoid unnecessary work, and approach PDF accessibility with greater confidence.

Registration is requested for this session.
