Feb. 11, 2026, is Day 1 of the third annual 100 Days of Accessibility, presented by Accessibility@IOWA. Throughout 100 Days of Accessibility, Accessibility@IOWA hosts and sponsors trainings and workshops to help individuals, work groups, and university departments increase awareness and capacity to support digital accessibility. Whether you're an experienced accessibility advocate or relatively new to the area of accessibility, you're welcome and encouraged to join in this landmark event.
On Day 1, Digital Accessibility Coordinator T.M. Weissenberger will open the 100 Days with the brief presentation, "What is Digital Accessibility (and where can I get some?)." Weissenberger will introduce accessibility fundamentals, share important developments in the digital accessibility landscape, and field questions about resources, policies, procedures, and all things accessibility. Weissenberger will also demonstrate some starter practices for digital accessibility and lay out the agenda for the 100 days, including the highly anticipated Day 73: ADA Enforcement Day.
100 Days of Accessibility culminates in Global Accessibility Awareness Day, May 21, 2026. Registration is requested.
